International Conference on Water, Environment, Energy and Society (ICWEES-2016) was organized jointly by the AISECT University Bhopal, India and Texas A&M University, Texas, USA in association with International Center of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE-WaRM), Adelaide, Australia and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Vienna, Austria from 15th to 18th, March 2016 at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), India.

More than 500 delegates participated in the deliberation from the different parts on the globe. Accepted research papers and posters were presents. Accepted research papers and posters under the themes on Water Resources Planning, Development and Management, Hydrology, Groundwater, Irrigation, Drainage, Hydraulics; GIS, Remote Sensing, GPS and its Application, Isotope Hydrology, Wetlands, Aquaculture Production System, Environment Pollution, Pollution Abatement, Human Health Impacts, Environment and Infrastructure, Waste Management, Treatment and Hydro, Thermal, Wind and Solar Energy Generation, Policy, Planning and Management), Climate Change and Global Warming, Economics of Development, Ecosystems, Planning Models, Management Models were presented. Certificate was given to the authors of the best paper and poster in each theme of this conference.
